Aleppo, Syria – United States Central Command has announced a major military operation involving large-scale strikes against Islamic State group targets situated within Syria.

In a coordinated effort to dismantle the extremist group’s operational capabilities, US and partner forces deployed more than 20 aircraft to execute precision attacks. According to official reports, over 90 precision-guided munitions were fired at more than 35 specific locations across the region. This mission, aimed at degrading the militant group’s infrastructure and preventing further regional instability, underscores the ongoing commitment of the international coalition to combat terrorism. Defence officials confirmed that the operation was carried out to ensure the safety of regional allies and to mitigate the persistent threat posed by Islamic State remnants.
