Qatar – Qatar Ministry of Interior has confirmed that 8 additional injuries have been recorded following an Iranian attack on its territory. This brings the total number of casualties to 16 since the onset of the hostilities. In an official statement released on Sunday, the ministry also noted that limited material damage has been reported across various locations, based on field assessments and official reports received by the authorities.

Security agencies and civil defence teams have been mobilised immediately to address the situation. In coordination with relevant national bodies, these teams are implementing approved response plans designed to ensure public safety and the continuity of essential services. The ministry emphasised that it is maintaining a high level of readiness to manage any further emergencies while providing constant monitoring of developments on the ground.

Furthermore, the authorities clarified that early warning and alert systems are only activated when urgent additional preventative measures are necessary. These protocols remain a priority to safeguard the public during the ongoing regional instability. The Ministry of Interior continues to oversee the recovery efforts and remains committed to protecting the nation’s infrastructure and citizens.
