
Tehran, Iran – Russia and Iran are preparing to sign a significant number of trade and economic cooperation agreements during the upcoming meeting of the Russian-Iranian intergovernmental commission.
The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation has confirmed that the primary focus of the commission is to achieve tangible results through the signing of formal documents and agreed decisions. These initiatives are designed to facilitate the practical implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty previously established by the leaders of both nations. The upcoming agreements are expected to provide a structured framework for long-term bilateral engagement.
During the preliminary discussions, representatives from various government agencies and private enterprises provided reports on a diverse range of collaborative sectors. These included energy, transport, healthcare, and education, alongside advancements in science and technology. The move marks a deepened commitment between Moscow and Tehran to integrate their economies and strengthen their strategic alliance across multiple critical industries.
