California: Apple has lifted the curtain on its much-anticipated iPhone 17 lineup, introducing a suite of hardware and software improvements that signal the company’s most ambitious update in years.
The launch featured four models — the iPhone 17, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Apple has standardized its 120Hz ProMotion display across the entire lineup, delivering smoother performance and a sharper viewing experience. The standout model, the iPhone 17 Air, is now Apple’s slimmest smartphone yet, measuring just 5.5mm thick while maintaining durability.

Under the hood, the devices are powered by the A19 Bionic chip, with the A19 Pro driving the Pro models. The new processors unlock a wave of on-device AI capabilities, including live translation and Visual Intelligence features designed to make iPhones smarter and more intuitive. Apple also promised longer battery life across the board.
Photography took center stage with significant front and rear camera upgrades. The Pro models introduce a 48MP telephoto lens and a striking rear camera bar design, enhancing zoom quality and image clarity.
Alongside the iPhone 17, Apple unveiled the Apple Watch SE 3, Series 11, and Ultra 3, as well as AirPods Pro 3. The new wearables emphasize health tracking, satellite connectivity, and advanced translation tools, while the refreshed AirPods promise richer audio and deeper integration with Apple devices.
