MUSCAT : OQ Exploration and Production SAOG (OQEP) has appointed Eng. Mahmoud Abdullah Al Hashmi as its Chief Executive Officer, the company’s board of directors said.
Al Hashmi brings more than 27 years of industry experience and has demonstrated leadership in driving operational excellence and strategic growth, the company said in a statement.
He also played a key role in the successful execution of OQEP’s 2024 initial public offering, described as the largest IPO in the history of the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX).
The board expressed confidence in Al Hashmi’s ability to lead the company toward its long-term strategic objectives.
