MUSCAT : The Arabian Stories (TAS) has announced the launch of the inaugural Youth Leadership Summit, a national platform designed to inspire and equip young people across the Sultanate with future-ready skills, mentorship and leadership experiences. The announcement was made on the occasion of Accession Day, underscoring the initiative’s alignment with Oman’s long-term national vision and leadership priorities.
Positioned as one of Oman’s most ambitious youth-focused initiatives, the summit aims to bring together students, young professionals, creators, innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs for two days of discussions, workshops and networking sessions centred on leadership, innovation and personal growth.
According to TAS, the Youth Leadership Summit seeks to address the growing need for platforms that help young people navigate rapid economic, technological and social shifts. The event will feature high-impact keynote speakers, interactive panel discussions, hands-on workshops, a youth innovation showcase and the Youth Leadership Summit Awards, which will honour outstanding achievers across multiple fields including entrepreneurship, technology, sports, community impact and the creative industries.
Nishad Padiyarath, Founder & CEO of TAS, said the new initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting the nation’s youth and strengthening Oman’s leadership pipeline.
“Across the world, young people are stepping into new frontiers, redefining industries and shaping the future with bold ideas. Oman’s youth are no different. This summit is our way of giving them the tools, exposure and confidence they need to lead with purpose,” he said.
He added that the platform aligns closely with the human capital development goals of Oman Vision 2040, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world leadership skills.
The summit will include a mentoring lounge connecting youth with industry experts, as well as an innovation exhibition showcasing youth-led startups, creative work, research projects and technology prototypes from across universities and independent teams in Oman.
TAS confirmed that the organising committee will include leading personalities from the business, leadership training, entrepreneurship and creative sectors, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
With participation expected to exceed 800 youth, the Youth Leadership Summit aims to become one of the country’s most influential youth gatherings.
“This is more than an event,” Nishad said. “It is a movement to unlock the potential of a generation—and to build a future that reflects their ambition.”
