Musannah – In a coordinated operation with the Public Prosecution and the Royal Oman Police, the Musannah Municipality Department recently conducted a raid on a residential property used for the unauthorised preparation of food. The investigation revealed that the premises were being utilised as an unlicensed kitchen for the large-scale production of samosas under highly unsanitary conditions.

During the enforcement action, officials seized and destroyed a total of 903 kg of food products that were deemed unfit for human consumption. The municipality confirmed that all necessary legal measures have been initiated against the violators to ensure full compliance with national health regulations. Local authorities have reiterated that community safety remains an absolute priority and that there will be no leniency for practices that compromise the well-being of the public.
