Al Jabal Al Akhdar continues to draw visitors year-round due to its moderate summer temperatures and cold winter climate. The availability of hotels, rest houses, and tourist lodges, alongside a calendar of events, has supported sustained tourism growth. The wilayat is also a key centre for eco-tourism and adventure tourism, offering activities such as valley walks, cave exploration, and mountain climbing, while providing visitors with opportunities to experience local culture in its mountain villages.
