Washington, USA – The official match schedule for the expanded FIFA World Cup 2026, co-hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, has been released, confirming that the final will be played on July 19, 2026 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The highly anticipated championship match is scheduled for 11 PM (GST) start for football fans across the Sultanate and the wider Gulf region.

The tournament will commence on 11th June with the opening match between co-host Mexico and South Africa at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, also kicking off at 11 PM. Underscoring the centrality of the US to the later stages of the competition, all knockout ties from the quarter-final stage onwards will be contested exclusively on American soil.
