
Mumbai, India – Veteran actor Dharmendra, one of Bollywood’s most enduring and beloved figures, has passed away at the age of 89 in Mumbai. The star, affectionately known as the “He-Man” of Hindi cinema, died on Monday, November 24, 2025, following a period of hospitalisation.
Known for his iconic performances in classics such as Sholay and Seeta Aur Geeta, Dharmendra’s career spanned over six decades. He remained active in recent years, notably appearing in the 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
