Saham – North Batinah Municipality has intercepted and confiscated a substantial quantity of meat found to be unfit for human consumption in the Wilayat of Saham. During a rigorous regulatory inspection of food establishments, officials discovered 285.8 kg of spoiled meat products. The authorities immediately moved to destroy the entire quantity to prevent any risk to public health and safety.

This enforcement action is part of an ongoing campaign by the municipality to intensify oversight of food-related businesses and ensure strict compliance with health standards. Following the seizure, the municipality confirmed that all necessary legal proceedings have been initiated against the violators. Officials have reiterated their commitment to maintaining high levels of food safety across the governorate and have urged the public to report any suspected health violations.
