Saudi Arabia – Saudi Ministry of Defence has announced the successful interception and destruction of two cruise missiles targeting the Al Kharj governorate. Brigadier General Turki Al Malki, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, confirmed the operation in a statement released on Wednesday.
This incident marks the second significant aerial escalation of the day. Earlier, the Ministry reported that Saudi air forces had successfully engaged and destroyed nine unmanned aerial vehicles that had attempted to enter the Kingdom’s airspace. Military authorities remain on high alert following these consecutive attempts to breach national security.
