MUSCAT – Brent crude for June delivery rose $1.40, or 1.4 percent, to $105.37 a barrel, building on a 64 percent monthly gain in March, the largest since at least June 1988, according to data from the London Exchange Group.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for May delivery rose $1.59, or 1.6 percent, to $102.97 a barrel, recovering part of Tuesday’s losses when Brent fell by more than three dollars at settlement amid unconfirmed media reports suggesting a potential end to the conflict with Iran.
