MUSCAT : Al Mouj Muscat will host the Young Entrepreneur Market from 5-7 March 2026 at The Walk, Al Marsa Plaza, bringing together 51 ambitious young entrepreneurs aged 11 to 18 in a vibrant three-day marketplace designed to nurture creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial leadership.

Held daily from 7pm to 12am, the initiative provides participants with the opportunity to conceptualise, launch and operate their own businesses in a live public environment. Through direct engagement with customers, real-time sales, pricing decisions and brand presentation, the young entrepreneurs will gain first-hand experience in financial literacy, customer engagement, resilience and commercial thinking.

Across three evenings, The Walk will transform into a dynamic Ramadan destination animated by youth-led enterprise and community interaction. Visitors will discover a diverse range of business concepts from creative products to service-led ideas, while witnessing young founders adapt to customer feedback, refine their propositions and navigate the realities of entrepreneurship under the guidance of roaming mentors. Customer voting will spotlight the most innovative and impactful ventures, culminating in an awards ceremony on the final evening.

The opening night coincides with Qaranqasho and Layali Al Mouj, one of the most cherished Ramadan traditions, further enriching the experience with festive activities, family engagement and moments of shared celebration. Al Marsa Plaza will come alive with the spirit of generosity, creativity and togetherness, reflecting the values of the holy month while reinforcing Al Mouj Muscat’s role as a destination where community and opportunity converge.

The programme is structured across two tailored development tracks. Mouj Riders introduces participants aged 11-14 to entrepreneurial fundamentals, building confidence and customer-facing skills. Tide Turners supports youth aged 15-18 in strengthening brand identity, refining pitching techniques and scaling ideas within a competitive live marketplace setting.

Commenting on the initiative, Nasser Al Sheibani, CEO of Al Mouj Muscat, said: “At Al Mouj Muscat, we believe thriving communities are built by empowering the next generation to think boldly and act confidently. The Young Entrepreneur Market is more than a marketplace; it is a platform for real-world learning, resilience and leadership. By giving young Omanis the opportunity to test their ideas in a live environment, we are investing in the skills, ambition and entrepreneurial mindset that will shape Oman’s future economy and support the nation’s human capital priorities.”

The Young Entrepreneur Market forms part of Al Mouj Muscat’s ongoing commitment to curating meaningful experiences that enrich community life while supporting education, enterprise and cultural celebration. By integrating entrepreneurship with the spirit of Ramadan, the initiative reinforces Al Mouj Muscat’s vision of creating a vibrant, future-ready community that nurtures talent and opportunity at every stage of life.

Members of the public are invited to visit The Walk at Al Marsa Plaza from 5-7 March and support Oman’s emerging young business leaders. For more information and registration details, visit youngoman.biz.
